Job summary

Wexford Senior Care Center is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily enrichment programs, enhancing both physical and mental well-being for residents. If you enjoy games, music, arts and crafts, this role offers rewarding interaction with guests and their families.

You will help organize group activities, assist with transport to programs, and tailor activities to residents’ interests and capabilities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to their background, life enrichment interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with guests, families, and visitors.

The Life Enrichment Activities Aide delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy. These activities have the dual purpose of being therapeutic and promoting both physical & mental health and well-being. We are always trying new fun ideas. If you like to play games, listen to music and sing songs, and do arts & crafts - this position may be for you!

You Will Earn

• Starting Wages: $15.00 per hour

• Part Time positions available - all shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
• 8 hour shifts - Days and Afternoons available!
