Job summary

WellBridge of Rochester Hills is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to lead daily life enrichment activities and provide compassionate hospitality for residents and families. The role focuses on creating a joyful, therapeutic environment through engaging group and individual activities.

You will coordinate group and individual programs, assist with transportation to activities, and help decorate the facility to reflect themes and holidays. Prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Excellent customer service with compassionate care.
• Team player and supportive to colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment activities.
• Evaluate patients based on background and interests to tailor meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic decorations throughout the facility.

The ActivitiesAide delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy. You will earn: $16.00 per hour to start!

• Starting wages $15.15 per hour

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred
