Job summary

SpartanNash, a food solutions company, is seeking a store operations professional to coordinate activities in the absence of senior management. You will ensure efficient shifts, customer service excellence, and compliance with safety and store policies.

The role requires basic math, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage time clocks, stock, and cleanliness while supporting multiple departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail or related experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented and customer focused.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate store operations in the absence of Store Director or other managers.
• Monitor adherence to company policies by associates.
• Operate cashier register and courtesy desk and resolve customer concerns efficiently.
• Know store layout and safety equipment locations.
• Conduct regular area inspections and provide feedback to managers.
• Maintain time clock accuracy in absence of managers.
• May close the store and secure doors, lights, and equipment.
• Know product locations to assist customers and maintain stock.
• Keep store clean, attractive, and well stocked.
• Follow PPE, safety, food safety, and cleaning guidelines.
• Follow guest experience guidelines and assist across departments as needed.
