Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a capable store operations leader to oversee daily activities in the absence of senior management. You will ensure efficiency, oversee cashiering, assist customers, and maintain store standards to support the business goals.

Responsibilities include monitoring policy adherence, maintaining safety practices, and coordinating with department managers. This full-time role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and prior retail experience; travel is variable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor associates' adherence to company policies.
• Run cashier register and courtesy desk; handle customer concerns efficiently.
• Know store layout and locations of safety and emergency equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections; provide feedback to managers.
• In absence of Store Director or manager, manage time clock and store operations.
• May close store: lock doors, turn off lights, arm store, etc.
