Valley Interior Products, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking an Acoustical Architectural Specialties Sales Representative to provide product knowledge, drive brand visibility, and deliver acoustical solutions.

You will work with the sales team to close opportunities and exceed sales goals. Responsibilities include relationship building, design consultation, pricing, and collaboration with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 4 year degree preferred.
• Two or more years of relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and read plans and specifications.

• Ability to work independently and in a team; leadership and collaboration.
• Self-management, initiative, and drive to deliver results.
• Professional communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers.
• Provide technical resource for sales team and customers in acoustical architectural specialties.
• Perform design consultation and assist with project budgeting.
• Uncover new project opportunities.
• Estimate and produce project pricing.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers on strategic sales approaches.
• Overcome objections; quote prices effectively.
• Maintain customer accounts and complete sales admin tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pricing, and quotes.
• Follow up on estimates, bids, and job tracking.
• Use technology to service customer needs and provide market solutions.
