Job summary

Valley Interior Products, Inc. in Nashville is seeking an Acoustical Architectural Specialties Sales Representative to provide product knowledge, grow market visibility, and deliver solutions across acoustical products.

You will work with the sales team to close deals and drive revenue toward company goals. The role emphasizes relationship-building with customers, technical support for the sales team, design consultation, budget assistance, and timely follow-up on estimates and bids.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4 year degree preferred.
• Two or more years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers.
• Be technical resource for sales team and customers in acoustical products.
• Perform design consultation and assist with budgeting.
• Uncover new project opportunities and price estimates.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers on strategies.
• Overcome objections and quote prices.
• Maintain customer accounts and sales records, including pricing.
• Follow up on estimates, bids, and job tracking.
• Use technology to service customer needs and provide market solutions.
