Valley Interior Products, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking an Acoustical Architectural Specialties Sales Representative to provide product knowledge, drive brand visibility, and close opportunities in the field of acoustical products.

You will work with the sales team to deliver solutions that meet project requirements and exceed sales goals. This role requires strong relationship building, the ability to read plans, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Strong relationship building and communication with customers and internal teams.
• Experience supporting sales in acoustical architectural products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers.
• Technical resource for the internal sales team and external customers in acoustical architectural specialties products.
• Perform design consultation and assist with project budgeting.
• Uncovering new project opportunities.
• Estimate and produce project pricing.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine strategic sales approaches.
• Overcome objections of prospective customers; emphasize product/service features, quote prices.
• Maintain customer accounts and complete sales administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, sales, and pricing.
• Follow up on estimates, bids, and job tracking.
• Utilize technology to service customer needs and provide market solutions.
