Valley Interior Products, Inc. is seeking an Acoustical Architectural Specialties Sales Representative to provide product knowledge, support the sales team, and close opportunities to meet business goals.

You will build relationships with customers, act as a technical resource, assist with budgeting, and develop product knowledge to guide purchasing decisions. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 4 year degree preferred.
• Two or more years of relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and read plans and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; lead/coordinate as needed.
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative, and drive results.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, to coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers.
• Serve as a technical resource for the sales team and external customers in acoustical architectural specialties products.
• Perform design consultation and assist with project budgeting.
• Uncover new project opportunities.
• Estimate and produce project pricing.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers on strategic sales approaches.
• Overcome objections; highlight product/service features and pricing.
• Maintain customer accounts and complete sales admin tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pricing, and bids.
• Follow up on estimates, bids, and job tracking.
• Utilize technology to service customer needs and provide market solutions.
