Job summary

Fontainebleau Miami Beach is seeking an AR Supervisor responsible for guest billing and supervising the Accounts Receivable staff to ensure timely and accurate financial information for hotel executive management. Responsibilities include enforcing credit policies, processing and collecting bills, applying payments, and coordinating with departments to process billing requests.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years auditing and 2 years of supervisory experience, plus strong Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years auditing experience; two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with auditing and basic accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Effective supervisory and communication skills.
• Well organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform basic/intermediate math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Enforce hotel credit policies related to deposits, billings, trade accounts, collections, card procedures, and chargebacks.
• Ensure bills are processed and collected timely.
• Apply cash receipts to AR invoices.
• Coordinate with departments and GL Accountants to process billing requests.
• Assist with special accounting projects.
• Maintain AR aging and pursue past-due collections.
• Keep AR records filed and accessible; initiate monthly journal entries.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
