Mondrian South Beach is hiring an Account Receivable Specialist to support the Finance department in Miami Beach, FL. The role focuses on processing customer payments, updating invoicing records, and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate revenue reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting, strong data entry skills, and proficiency with MS Office. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work with cross-functional teams within the hotel

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic accounting principles and data entry.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Updates receivable by totaling unpaid invoices.
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers.
• Resolves deductions by entering adjusting entries.
• Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts and coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable.
• Protects organization by keeping information confidential.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
