Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage a high-volume customer portfolio and ensure accurate cash application and reconciliation. You will post payments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain clear communications with customers and internal teams.

The role requires attention to detail, speed, and reliability in a fast-paced environment with weekly pay and a temp-to-hire path. SAP S/4 experience is highly preferred and onsite in Raymore, MO.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, cash application, collections or related accounting function.
• Experience managing a high-volume portfolio.
• Strong reconciliation, research and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
• SAP S/4 experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post and apply customer payments using SAP S/4.
• Manage a portfolio of approximately 1,000 customer accounts.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and related issues.
• Process payments via check, cash, EFT, online bill pay, and other methods.
• Perform collection activities, courtesy calls, and follow-up per procedures.
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate balances and notes.
• Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements.
• Collaborate with Sales and internal departments to resolve disputes.
• Respond to customer questions professionally within timelines.
• Escalate complex issues to the AR Supervisor as needed.
