Job summary

UPLIFT Desk, a leading ecommerce brand in height-adjustable desks, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Austin, TX. You will report to the Controller and handle high-volume AR, billing, collections, and customer communications to support growth and accuracy.

Ideal candidates have NetSuite and accounting experience, with GAAP knowledge and strong communication. This role offers full-time hours, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of NetSuite experience required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong background in accounts receivable and collections.
• Working knowledge of GAAP accounting practices and procedures.
• Excellent communication, time management skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to professionally communicate with customers regarding invoices and outstanding balances.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform billing and collections.
• Monitor outstanding customer balances and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Assist with customer credit application setup.
• Collect and maintain sales tax exemption certificates.
• Process deposits and post daily bank activity.
• Apply and reconcile customer payments.
• Research and resolve customer account and payment discrepancies.
• Verify claims and process refunds.
• Maintain accurate customer account records.
• Support staff by performing assigned accounting and clerical tasks.
