Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant based in Long Beach, CA. You will manage invoicing, collections, cash receipts forecasting, and assist with the monthly close and audits, supporting the Accounting/Finance department.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred, with 2+ years AR/billing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience (Infor LN, BAAN, Oracle, JDE, SAP) is a plus. Competitive base pay plus stock and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred; a combination of education and related years of experience will be considered.
• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, and accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• New Customer Setup.
• Create and send out invoices.
• Follow-up with customers for billing, collections, and late payments.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Perform account reconciliations and monitor the account details of customers which includes delayed or missed payments.
• Research and resolve payment errors.
• Review and run AR Aging.
• Assists with monthly close.
• Assists and participates in audits, as needed.
• Assist with cash receipts forecasting.
• Assist with government incurred cost submission.
• Assist with provision and final rates adjustments.
• Assists on project, as assigned by HQ office in Long Beach, California.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
