Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Finance team on-site at our Long Beach, CA headquarters. You will oversee month-end close, maintain asset registers, and drive accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years of experience and a strong GAAP background, with proficiency in Infor Syteline, LN, and CostPoint/Deltek. Base pay varies by experience and includes a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (9+ years total).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Manage month-end and year-end closing with journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation.
• Prepare trial balances and schedules for reporting.
• Monitor AP, GRNI and AR processes; review aging and collections.
• Analyze variances and assist cash forecasting.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation.
• Collaborate with AR and other departments on sales orders.
