Rocket Lab USA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant based in Long Beach, CA. You will manage invoices, billing, and collections while supporting the accounting team. The role requires collaboration with HQ, handling AR aging, and assisting in audits and monthly close to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, and accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred; combination of education and related years of experience will be considered.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Create and send out invoices.
• Follow-up with customers for billing, collections, and late payments.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Perform account reconciliations and monitor the account details of customers including delayed or missed payments.
• Research and resolve payment errors.
• Review and run AR Aging.
• Assist with monthly close.
• Assist with audits, as needed.
• Assist with cash receipts forecasting.
• Assist with government invoicing submission where applicable.
• Assist with provision and final rates adjustments.
• Collaborate with HQ in Long Beach on assigned projects.
