Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage AR, billing, and collections for our fast-growing space company. You will support the New Business Controller and help ensure accurate financial records.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in AR/billing, proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office. We offer competitive pay, stock-based compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to grow with us as we expand to new launch sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred.
• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, and accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsabilités

• New Customer Setup.
• Create and send out invoices.
• Follow-up with customers for billing, collections, and late payments.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Perform account reconciliations and monitor the account details of customers including delayed or missed payments.
• Research and resolve payment errors.
• Review and run AR Aging.
• Assists with monthly close.
• Assists and participates in audits, as needed.
• Assist with cash receipts forecasting.
• Assist with government incurred cost submission.
• Assist with provision and final rates adjustments.
• Assists on project, as assigned by HQ office in Long Beach, California.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
