The position handles credit applications, posting payments, account setup, reconciliations, and collections support, working closely with internal teams. This contract-to-hire, onsite role offers a stable weekday schedule and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Credit, Collections, or General Accounting.
• High level of accuracy in data entry.
• Experience with Eclipse and BillTrust is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of customer credit applications.
• Process and post customer payments (cash, checks, card, lockbox).
• Set up and maintain customer accounts.
• Reconcile AR balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor customer activity and outstanding balances.
• Communicate with customers on inquiries and issues.
• Support collections and account resolution.
• Maintain accurate customer records for compliance and audits.
• Research and resolve billing disputes.
• Assist with credit management projects and process improvements.
• Apply knowledge of collections, liens, judgments, and related regulations.
• Protect confidential customer and financial information.
