Job summary

Scheels Corporate Office in Fargo, ND is seeking an Accounts Receivable specialist responsible for timely application of payments and maintaining bank reconciliations. This role partners with Campus Accounting, Store Offices, and other teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate posting of AR activity.

The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree or 1–2 years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented, team-focused approach to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 1–2 years related experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Process and apply incoming payments accurately according to policies and procedures.
• Perform day-to-day accounts receivable transactions including coding and posting activity.
• Prepare and balance daily bank deposits and own the bank reconciliation process.
• Research discrepancies and communicate with Campus Accounting, Store Offices, and other teams.
• Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as assigned.
