Vaden Automotive is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our accounting team and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple departments and store locations.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with accounting systems and Excel. Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or a related financial role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel experience a plus).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Automotive Dealership Experience Is a Plus, But Not Required.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Responsibilities

• Verify cash, check, and credit card transactions by reconciling store CCBR reports from Service and Parts departments.
• Verify vehicle down payments for accuracy and posting to correct customer and deal.
• Prepare and record daily bank deposits and reflect deposits on the daily bank deposit report.
• Process weekly down payment and cash reports.
• Maintain and update Schedules 225 and 210.
• File IRS Form 8300 for cash transactions over $10,000 when required.
• Process hold forms within timelines and guidelines.
• Assist managers with verifying down payments and resolving discrepancies.
• Support the department lead as needed.
• Post charge account customer checks daily.
• Process customer down payment refunds when necessary.
• Review and verify checks related to credit memos issued by Parts department.
