Job summary

Cintas is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to manage accounts receivable duties, monitor assigned accounts for overdue balances, and plan steps to recover payments. This role requires frequent customer contact and proactive collection actions.

Responsibilities include negotiating payment terms, updating records, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Prior experience with SAP or AS400 is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of collections experience.
• Ability to use confidential information to achieve collections targets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet.

Responsibilities

• Track assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and plan action to recover payments.
• Engage in heavy phone activity with customers and contact debtors regarding payment status.
• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans and address questions or complaints.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies; update account status and database regularly.
