Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to manage AR processes and lead efforts to recover past-due account balances. The role involves heavy phone activity with customers, negotiating payoff deadlines or payment plans, and resolving discrepancies while maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will update account status in the system, report progress to supervisors, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of collections experience required.
• Must be able to handle confidential information professionally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR functions and track assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.
• Plan actions to recover payments and negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans.
• Maintain phone contact with debtors and respond to questions or complaints.
• Investigate discrepancies, update account status, and escalate issues as needed.
• Alert supervisors about customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts.
