You will post customer payments daily, process lockbox cash, deposits, and Received on Account payments, and support month-end close for AR. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in accounts receivable or credit, is proficient with Microsoft Office, and understands general accounting policies.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting policy and procedures.
• 1-3 years of related AR/credit experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, credit card transactions daily.
• Post all checks, deposits, and Received on Account payments promptly.
• Pull and post payments from Lockbox.
• Adjust incorrect payments from counter sales.
• Notify the Credit Department of any unapplied cash/short pays.
• Assist in month closing of all AR.
• Assist in processing of customer refund checks.
• Assist with any projects and tasks required by the Credit & Accounting department.
• Other duties as assigned.
