Job summary

NFI Industries in Camden, NJ is seeking an Accounts Receivable coordinator to manage cash applications and coordinate with Operations, Collections, and customers to resolve outstanding cash, ensure accurate GL allocations, and support daily accounting tasks.

Base hourly rate ranges from $19.50 to $26.00 with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus around 3%. The role emphasizes attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong communication in a fast-paced, paperless environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Transportation and/or logistics experience preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills required.
• 1–2 years in an administrative role.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, paperless environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Process daily cash applications for multiple banking accounts.
• Retrieve and request remittances to complete cash application.
• Deposit daily manual checks and allocate deposits with GL codes.
• Document, implement, and maintain application procedures by customer/account.
• Coordinate with Operations, Collections, and customers to obtain required information.
• Document and communicate daily unapplied cash and follow up as needed.
• Manage group email inbox to resolve inquiries and adjust as necessary.
• Serve as backup for other departmental functions.
• E-file, copy, and scan documents as required.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
