Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing construction-focused team in the Inland Empire. You’ll own the billing-to-cash process, issue invoices, manage progress billings, and ensure timely payments from customers and contractors.

Responsibilities include handling retention, liens, and job-cost billing with project managers, reconciling payments, and maintaining accurate AR aging.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AR or billing experience, preferably in construction
• Familiarity with progress billing, lien rights, and job costing
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Manage retention, change orders, and job-cost billing in coordination with project managers
• Prepare and track preliminary notices, lien waivers, and lien releases (conditional and unconditional)
• Apply customer payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve billing discrepancies
• Follow up on past-due accounts with general contractors, subcontractors, and owners; support collections
• Monitor AR aging reports and keep cash flow on track
• Work in construction accounting software such as Sage 100/300 Contractor, Viewpoint/Vista, Foundation, QuickBooks, or similar, and Excel
