Job summary

Onbe is seeking a Financial Operations AR Specialist to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records. You will reconcile transactions, identify discrepancies and support the finance team in accordance with accounting standards.

This role is hybrid, onsite 2 days per week at Chicago, Philadelphia or Dallas metro areas, with occasional travel. A 3+ year accounting background and Excel/Great Plains skills are preferred. Competitive salary with bonus eligibility and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in general accounting principles and basic financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Great Plains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine reconciliations of financial records, including bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger accounts.
• Identify and help resolve basic discrepancies in financial data and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and maintain organized records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing standard financial reports and summaries for internal use.
• Support compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to support day-to-day accounting operations.
• Explore opportunities for process automation and implement tools or systems to enhance reconciliation efficiency.
