Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional for a hybrid role (2 days remote/3 days in office) after a 3-month training period.

You will record client invoices, post transactions, and collaborate with the accounting team using Blackbaud, Yardi, QuickBooks, Appfolio, and Accubuild to generate statements and aging reports. Minimum 1–3 years AR experience and strong Excel skills are required; a high school diploma or GED is needed with a preference for an Associate’s

Qualifications

• 1-3 years accounts receivable experience.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and computerized accounting/spreadsheet programs.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Record client invoices and account for funds paid to the organization.
• Perform a variety of accounting and transactional posting duties per policies.
• Develop and maintain open communication with accounting/finance team and internal partners.
• Use five software systems (Blackbaud, Yardi, QuickBooks, Appfolio, Accubuild) to generate invoices, monthly statements, and aging reports.
