Goodwin Recruiting seeks an Accounts Receivable Manager for a fully remote role (Eastern Time). You will lead a small AR team, own multi-state invoicing and cash collection, and develop procedures to improve DSO and workflow efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise a team of 1–2 AR/billing specialists and oversee daily workflow.
• Own end-to-end AR cycle across multi-state operations, ensuring timely billing and cash collection.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for billing, payments, and collections.
• Manage complex reconciliations, disputes, and root-cause collaboration with operations.
• Prepare AR aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and other metrics for leadership.
• Maintain mastery of QuickBooks Online and lead the transition to Xero.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state sales tax tracking/remittance.
• Handle high-value collections escalations and coordinate with external agencies as needed.

Accounts Receivable Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, credit & collections, or general accounting, including 1-2 years in a supervisory or management capacity
• Expert proficiency with QuickBooks Online is required; experience with Xero is a strong plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills with high emotional intelligence

Accounts Receivable Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams
• Demonstrated ability to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and manage past-due accounts effectively
• Skilled at designing and implementing billing and collection workflows
• Comfortable handling client escalations diplomatically yet firmly
