Goodwin Recruiting seeks an Accounts Receivable Manager for a fully remote role (Eastern Time). You will lead a small AR team, own multi-state invoicing and cash collection, and develop procedures to improve DSO and workflow efficiency.

Requirements include 5+ years AR/credit, QuickBooks Online expertise, Excel mastery, a Bachelor's in a related field, and strong communication. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits, with schedule aligned to EST business hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounts receivable, credit & collections, or general accounting, with 1–2 years in supervision.
• Expert proficiency with QuickBooks Online; Xero is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills with high EI.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise a team of 1–2 AR/billing specialists and oversee daily workflow.
• Own end-to-end AR cycle across multi-state operations, ensuring timely billing and cash collection.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for billing, payments, and collections.
• Manage complex reconciliations, disputes, and root-cause collaboration with operations.
• Prepare AR aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and other metrics for leadership.
• Maintain mastery of QuickBooks Online and lead the transition to Xero.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state sales tax tracking/remittance.
• Handle high-value collections escalations and coordinate with external agencies as needed.
