Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a multi-entity environment.
• Experience leading AR staff and implementing standardized AR processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounts receivable cycle for multiple portfolio companies.

• Review and approve invoices, monitor aging, resolve billing discrepancies. Partner with operations and sales.

Role Description

The Accounts Receivable Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Southlake, TX. This position oversees the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment application, customer account reconciliation, and collections activities for multiple portfolio companies. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and approving invoices, monitoring aging reports, resolving billing discrepancies, and partnering with operations and sales teams to address customer issues. The role also includes managing credit evaluations, setting credit limits, enforcing company policies, and preparing AR-related reports and metrics for finance leadership. The Accounts Receivable Manager will develop and refine processes, support month-end close activities, and use analytical insights to improve cash flow and reduce past-due balances.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including familiarity with GAAP, AR processes, and general ledger interactions.
• Candidates should possess solid Invoicing and Credit Management skills, including experience with billing systems, credit review, collections, and cash application.
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret aging reports, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
• Relevant experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and strong Excel skills are beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities.
• Prior experience in a multi-entity environment, logistics, transportation, or industrial sectors is a plus.
• Experience leading or mentoring AR staff and implementing standardized processes across businesses is beneficial.
