Job summary

Atlantis Fire Protection is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage invoicing, billing, and collections for the company and its subsidiaries. This hands-on role serves as the process owner for all accounts receivable and supports other accounting tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting for service organizations, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP software. This full-time, on-site position offers solid benefits and a stable work environment in Dallas.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting is required.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting with a service-oriented company.
• Experience using Sage Intact is preferred.
• Experience using ServiceTrade is preferred.
• Experience using PayStand is preferred.
• Experience using Ramp is preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software/ERP systems required.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial reporting and analysis tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to review the work of colleagues constructively and train/mentor staff, even without formal supervisory authority.

Overview

The Accounts Receivable Accountant position is a hands-on role that is responsible for invoicing, billing, and collection of the company’s revenue. The Accounts Receivable Accountant is a key member of the Company’s financial team and the process owner for all accounts receivable, and serves as a staff accountant for other company accounting functions. The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for generating accounts receivable reporting for management and the company’s subsidiaries.
