Job summary

You will work closely with the finance team to keep billing processes efficient and compliant. Responsibilities include entering shipments into the accounting system, applying cash receipts, reconciling balances, and handling customer credit applications.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in accounting, finance or other business degree.
• Four years billing/accounts receivable experience
• Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel
• Prior collection and reconciliation of customer accounts
• Undergraduate degree with focus on accounting and/or finance (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Review bills of lading and sales orders for processing.
• Ensure accuracy of daily invoicing.
• Enter shipments into accounting system for billing and maintain related files.
• Apply cash receipts to customer accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts.
• Process customer credit applications and maintain related files.
• Make collection calls as needed. Responsible for the customer aging.
• Review bills for payment (match invoices with purchase orders). Check for proper approvals and authorizations.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
