Staffmark Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Broussard, LA team. You will manage customer accounts, pursue overdue balances, and help improve cash flow.

3–5 years AR/collections experience required; oilfield services experience preferred. Proficiency with SAP Ariba/OpenInvoice/OpenTicket is a plus. Competitive weekly pay and robust benefits accompany this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer accounts and identify outstanding balances.
• Contact customers by phone, email, and mail regarding overdue invoices.
• Develop repayment plans and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Enter and distribute invoices through portals or approved methods.
• Process credit card payments and maintain account records.
• Create and distribute monthly customer statements.
• Maintain master files and preferred invoicing methods.
• Research delinquent accounts and implement collection strategies.
• Prepare status reports for Controller and CFO.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve payment issues and improve cash flow.

Job Duties

• Manage assigned customer accounts and identify outstanding balances requiring collection efforts.
• Contact customers by phone, email, and mail regarding overdue invoices and payment status.
• Develop repayment plans and resolve billing discrepancies or customer concerns.
• Enter and distribute invoices through customer portals, email, or other approved methods.
• Process credit card payments and maintain accurate customer account records.
• Create and distribute monthly customer statements.
• Maintain customer master files, billing contacts, and preferred invoicing methods.
• Research delinquent accounts and implement effective collection strategies.
• Prepare regular status reports for the Corporate Controller and CFO.
• Collaborate with accounting, operations, and management teams to resolve payment issues and improve cash flow.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting accepted.
• High school diploma may be considered with 5-7 years of progressive Accounts Receivable and Collections experience within the oilfield services industry.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable and commercial collections experience required.
• Experience in oilfield services, equipment rentals, inventory sales, and labor billing preferred.
• Knowledge of customer invoicing portals such as SAP Ariba, OpenInvoice, and OpenTicket.
• Strong accounting knowledge, including invoice reconciliation, customer account maintenance, and collections management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working in multi-entity or multi-location business environments preferred.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer interactions and internal reporting.
