Job summary

CS Power Systems, a cutting‑edge division of Canadian Solar, seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead daily AP activities, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and manage a AP team. The role emphasizes process improvement, strong financial controls, and KPI reporting within a growth‑oriented renewable energy business.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in AP, at least 2 years in leadership, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, accounting principles, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, payment execution, expense reimbursements, and vendor account reconciliation.
Monitor AP aging, payment schedules, and vendor relationships to maintain strong financial stewardship.
Supervise, coach, and develop Accounts Payable staff to achieve performance objectives and service standards.
Prepare and analyze monthly AP metrics, KPI reports, and management summaries.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy, standardization, and automation of AP processes.
