Job summary

Champions Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the AP team, enhance processes, and ensure accurate and timely vendor payments across multiple entities. You’ll mentor staff, strengthen controls, and drive efficiency in a growing home services organization.

The role requires 3+ years in AP, a degree in accounting/finance or AP certification, and proficiency with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct and Concur. Competitive benefits and a collaborative culture await.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred, or Certified AP Specialist
• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience, including leading or supervising a team
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices
• Experience improving processes and implementing operational efficiencies
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and formulas
• Experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct and Concur preferred)
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or Certified AP Specialist)

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day Accounts Payable team and support coaching, training, and development
• Oversee invoice processing, approvals, payment runs (check, ACH, EFT, and wire), and vendor account management
• Maintain vendor records, W-9 documentation, and banking information
• Resolve vendor inquiries and payment discrepancies with professionalism
• Oversee employee expense reimbursements
• Support month-end close, cash disbursement forecasting, reconciliations, audits, and 1099 reporting
• Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to automate and improve AP processes
• Partner with Accounting and other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial operations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
