Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks an experienced AP Manager to lead the accounts payable team in a fast‑paced environment. You will oversee invoices, payments, expense processing, and AP ledger accuracy while coaching staff and improving processes.

Lead vendor communications, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with internal controls. You will partner with finance on month‑end close and drive data integrity across the AP system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in accounts payable or accounting with 2–3 years in a supervisor role.
• Experience leading AP teams, improving processes and controls.
• Proven track record with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day AP operations including invoices, expense reports and payments.
• Supervise and mentor AP staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain strong vendor relations and negotiate terms as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with policies and internal controls; conduct audits.
• Prepare AP reports and support month‑end/year‑end closing.
• Oversee AP system management and data integrity.
