Job summary

TOTE Resources is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead daily AP operations within a shared services environment supporting multiple TOTE companies. This role ensures accurate, timely payments while maintaining internal controls and driving process improvements.

Based in Tacoma, WA, the supervisor will manage month-end close for AP, oversee GL accruals, and support audits. A Bachelor’s degree and AP experience are required, with strong Excel skills and a focus on continuous

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience managing Accounts Payable processes and controls.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable team within a shared services environment.
• Interview, hire, train, coach, and develop team members.
• Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure departmental goals and service levels are achieved.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
