Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP team and support the Senior Manager in daily operations, including invoice processing, payments, and reimbursements across the organization. This role will contribute to SOX controls and the Oracle Fusion rollout across business units.

The candidate will balance service, accuracy, and continuous improvement while coordinating with Procurement, Treasury, and Finance teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive Accounts Payable or procure-to-pay experience.
• 3+ years of people-management or AP team leadership experience.
• Hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud Payables experience preferred; Oracle Fusion Procurement/Expenses a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP operations and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing.
• Coach, develop, and manage AP staff; set priorities and provide training.
• Oversee invoice intake, coding, PO matching, approvals, and payments.
• Monitor AP aging, payment holds, inquiries, and employee reimbursements; drive process improvements.
• Support supplier onboarding, banking information, and tax documentation.
