Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP team and partner with the Senior Manager for the Oracle Fusion rollout, ensuring accurate, timely supplier payments and employee reimbursements.

This hands-on role drives process improvements, enforces SOX controls, and collaborates with Treasury, Procurement, and Accounting to resolve issues and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 7+ years AP or procure-to-pay experience in a multi-entity environment.
• Three+ years of people-management or AP team leadership experience.
• Hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud Payables experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as Costpoint, Unanet, NetSuite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP operations and ensure timely, accurate processing across the AP function.
• Coach and develop AP staff; set priorities and train to sustain service quality.
• Manage invoice intake, coding, PO matching, approvals, and payments per policy.
• Monitor aging, supplier inquiries, and reimbursements; resolve escalations.
