LHH Recruitment Solutions in Tacoma, WA is hiring an Accounts Payable Supervisor. This hybrid role (4 days in office, optional WFH) leads the AP team, drives process improvements, and ensures strong internal controls across eight business units.

You will mentor two AP Supervisors and 10 AP clerks, reporting to the AP Manager. The position offers $80k–$95k with a 12% bonus potential, plus 10 days PTO, 10 sick days, holidays, a 401k match, medical benefits for you and family, and tuition

Qualifications

• Extensive accounts payable experience, preferably in large organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
• Experience supervising teams and mentoring staff.

Position Title: Accounts Payable Supervisor

Office Location: Tacoma, WA

Worksite Type: Hybrid 4 days in office. Optional WFH on Monday or Friday, your choice!

Compensation: $80k to $95k + 12% bonus potential based on company performance.

Reports to: AP Manager

Team Description: In addition to you as AP Supervisor, there is a second AP Supervisor and 10 AP Clerks. The AP Manager has grown up through the ranks of the AP Department and so is very knowledgeable about the whole department. Super nice guy!!

Hours/Schedule: 8am to 5pm, ok to start and end earlier if you prefer

Systems: FSM

Challenges: This AP Team is a shared service across 8 Business Units, so there are multiple teams and systems to work with.

Other: No travel is planned for AP Supervisor.

We are looking for:

• A natural leader who is experienced at supervising
• Deep AP experience, with a preference for experience from larger companies
• Bachelors Degree in Business is preferred

• Second Interview with Assistant Controller
• Third Interview with Director of Finance, if necessary
