Ducommun Incorporated in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee daily AP operations, manage a team, and ensure timely, accurate processing of invoices and expense reports.

The role requires at least 2 years of AP supervision experience and proficiency with ERP systems. Strong communication, team collaboration, and process-improvement mindset are essential.

Competenze

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable supervision.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university would be preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and internal controls preferred.

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function including processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Plan, assign and review daily tasks, evaluate performance and ensure workload distribution among staff.
• Train staff on AP procedures and troubleshoot technical issues to help achieve departmental goals.
• Ensure all invoices are processed timely and accurately in compliance with policies.
• Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting AP processes.
• Mitigate fraud risk and maintain SOX compliance with company policies.
• Prepare monthly AP reports and manage 1099 processing.
• Provide backup for invoice and data processing including 3-way match and vendor payments.
• Meet deadlines and contribute to other AP projects as assigned.

Job Summary

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, including the processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Plan, assign and review daily tasks, evaluate performance and ensure equitable workload distribution among staff.
• Train staff and departments on AP procedures, troubleshoot technical issues and assist team members in achieving departmental goals.
• Ensure that all invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting AP processes.
• Establish procedures to mitigate fraud risk, adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley risk control matrices and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly accounts payable reports, annual 1099 processing.
• Backup for invoice and data processing using 3-way match, vendor payment, research and interactions with internal and external customers.
• Meet critical deadlines and other AP projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Computer literate with all Microsoft Office applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with process improvement inititative in accounts payable
• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Multi-task in high volume transactional setting
• Experience with automated financial transactions associated with an ERP system, Baan, Visual, Epicor system is a plus

Required Experience and Education

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university would be preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an Accounts Payable Supervisor role.

Base Compensation: USD 70,000.00 - 85,000.00 Paid Hourly
