Defense Maritime Solutions Inc is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate processing of invoices and timely payments. You will manage vendor records, W-9s, and 1099s, while supporting month-end close and audits.

The role involves ERP use (Deltek Costpoint), multi-currency processing, and process improvements in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AP, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and 365 apps, enabling collaboration

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum two years progressive accounts payable experience.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and 365 apps.

Aufgaben

• Process AP invoices, including PO and non-PO invoices, timely and accurately.
• Coordinate invoice routing, approvals, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Prepare cash disbursements per policy and approvals.
• Maintain vendor records, W-9, and 1099 documentation.
• Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies with internal teams.
• Support month-end/year-end close and audits with records and documentation.
• Assist with multi-currency, intercompany, and freight invoice processing as needed.
• Support process improvements and internal controls to increase efficiency.
