Hitachi Rail USA, Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced setting. This role covers a wide range from administrative to strategic AP tasks and requires solid SAP and Excel skills.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years in AP, a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred, and a strong eye for detail. Onsite work arrangement and opportunities for training are available.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in an AP role. Training available.
• Industrial / Manufacturing background experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Review and maintain Accounts Payable inbox for incoming invoices from suppliers daily.
• Match purchase orders, receiving documents and invoices to ensure accuracy of supplier invoices and supporting documentation.
• Process accounts payable transactions (invoices, credit memos, debit memos) in SAP accurately and efficiently, in a timely manner and obtain approval prior to payment.
• Ensure accuracy of G/L Account, Cost Center and WBS coding of AP Vouchers per company guidelines.
• Assist with payment issuance and verify invoices selected for payment.
• Reconcile monthly statements from vendors and handle discrepancies.
• Reconcile PO positions/lines for each vendor.
• Assist in monthly closing and support Finance during audits.
• Maintain vendor files and communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
