Job summary

Stoel Rives LLP in Boise or Portland is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the Accounting Department. You will verify expense coding, manage vendor setup, process payments, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

• College degree in math, finance, accounting or related field required, or a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years' relevant experience.
• Experience with accounting procedures and IBM-compatible PCs.
• Ability to learn new or updated versions of the accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Verify expenses and invoices for coding accuracy and proper back-up documentation.
• Maintain firm vendors, including onboarding and 1099 reporting.
• Process payments weekly via ACH, SUA, and checks.
• Coordinate international payments with vendor for international vendors.
• Respond to inquiries and assist in researching documentation as needed.
