Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to manage timely invoice processing and payment in our AP system. You will audit invoices, perform three-way matching, and ensure accurate GL coding, tax handling, and vendor details.

The role supports month-end closing and cross-training within Finance. Ideal candidates have 0–1+ years in accounts payable, an Associate’s or higher in accounting preferred, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and AP software systems.
• Experience with accounts payable processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices by verifying three-way match and auditing GL account, tax, pricing, and quantities.
• Match payment documents to vendor invoices and ensure vendor details match.
• Review outstanding reports for received/not invoiced POs and follow up with vendors.
• Print month-end AP reports and perform related GL account analysis.
• Back up colleagues by handling inventory invoice processing when needed.
• Update vendor W-9 forms and tax IDs in the AP system.
• Assist staff accountant with 1099 forms and distributions by due date.
