Winner Regional Health is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounting Clerk to manage outgoing cash flow, process vendor invoices, verify expenses, and reconcile accounts. You will maintain vendor files, code transactions, and support month-end closings while collaborating with the CFO or Senior Accountant to ensure accurate financial records.

This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and the ability to communicate clearly with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or data-entry experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Process vendor invoices: review, approve, verify accuracy.
• Process payments (checks, ACH, credit card) and manage payment schedules.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Code and post transactions to general ledger and accounting software.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve disputes and with internal departments to approve expenses.
• Generate AP reports and assist month-end closing; maintain compliance with policies.
• Assist Senior Accountants with journal entries and monthly reconciliations.
