Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our on-site team in Tualatin, OR. You will process vendor invoices, code and approve payments, and support accounting operations under the Shared Services Supervisor.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of AP experience, an associate degree in accounting or equivalent, and strong Excel skills. SAP ERP and Concur experience are a plus in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, invoice processing, purchase orders, and three-way matching.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Strong data entry with accuracy.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices per policies.
• Ensure supervisory approval and proper supporting docs.
• Set up new vendors in the system and maintain profiles.
• Maintain vendor records for compliance.
• Perform data entry for accounts payable tasks.
• Reconcile invoice discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Support audits with documentation as needed.
• Maintain organized files for accounts payable activities.
• Respond to vendor and employee inquiries professionally.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation.
• Assist with administrative needs of accounting.
• Foster collaboration with other teams to support shared goals.
• Perform special projects and additional accounting tasks.
