Job summary

Power & Tel is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage vendor invoice validation and posting, and to reconcile discrepancies with POs and receiving data. The role includes processing stock and drop ship orders and addressing complex EDI-related issues.

The ideal candidate has an associate's degree in finance or accounting and at least two years of experience in AP or related accounting functions, though there is room for consideration with equivalent work experience.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting functions preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Validate and post discount vendor invoices for payment.
• Validate and post all other vendor invoices for payment.
• Reconcile receiving and costing discrepancies with purchase orders and vendor invoices.
• Work open receivers report and vendor statements as assigned.
• Process stock and drop ship orders.
• Troubleshoot complex discrepancies related to EDI, invoice discrepancies, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
