Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist III to manage vendor invoices, check requests, and expense reports. On-site in Carson City Monday–Thursday with remote Fridays, you will perform monthly reconciliations, address discrepancies, and maintain multiple vendor accounts while upholding policy compliance.

You’ll need 2–3 years in AP or accounting, solid Excel and MS Office skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree in accounting preferred.
• 2–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication; dependable and punctual.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process check requests and expense reports on a regular basis.
• Review, code, and accurately process vendor invoices.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain multiple vendor accounts while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Enter and maintain accurate accounts payable data and records.
• Research, address, and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely payments and issue resolution.
