Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist III to manage vendor invoices, check requests, and expense reports. On-site in Carson City Monday–Thursday with remote Fridays, you will perform monthly reconciliations, address discrepancies, and maintain multiple vendor accounts while upholding policy compliance.

You’ll need 2–3 years in AP or accounting, solid Excel and MS Office skills, and strong communication.

Position Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist III is responsible for processing vendor invoices, check requests, and expense reports accurately and in accordance with company policy. This role performs monthly account reconciliations, researches and resolves discrepancies, and maintains multiple vendor accounts while ensuring compliance with established procedures. Based on-site at the Carson City office Monday through Thursday and remote on Fridays, the position requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment, working independently to resolve routine to moderately complex issues. Success in this role depends on clear, professional communication with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate payments.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; dependable and punctual with a strong sense of accountability
