Job summary

Piggly Wiggly Midwest LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Rep II to ensure timely processing of invoices and resolution of discrepancies. The role requires handling invoices received by mail, email, or electronically and entering them into the AP system, with emphasis on accuracy and vendor communications.

You will review invoices, reconcile amounts, monitor rejected receipts, and resolve questions from vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of applicable accounts payable experience
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software

Responsibilities

• Receive and review invoices received electronically, via email, or US mail
• Validate that invoices received via US mail have not already been transmitted electronically
• Determine where/how invoice should be processed, have it scanned or manually enter the invoice into the appropriate AP system
• Carry out invoice reconciliation where necessary, for all invoices sources, update invoice amount for discrepancies
• Monitor and action rejected receipts
• Lead the resolution of queries from vendors and internal departments
